Default Lost fifth gear ax 5

I would like to know if anybody could give me a hand and repairing the piece of crap.

did some reading and found what could be problem, the c clip broke.

I drove mine without a 5th gear for 4 years. Drain the fluid and the clip should fall out. After replacing trans 3 times for the clip issue I gave up. It's AX5 then you should have the 4 cyl. Never had much need for the 5th gear.

I live in the valley and work in flg so i need to get it fixed, can anybody suggest a good transmission shop in the west valley

PM Bab (randy). He is a mechanic and does do side work. Has done great work for myself. If he can't do it I am sure he could recommend someone.
