Not like that, but I recall a SCORE racer, (IIRC he was from or perhaps only sponsored from the Parker area), several years ago by the name of Sherman Balch, who piloted a CJ5.

I've seem him ride the back wheels for quite a ways on that old 5, but at speeds approaching 80-90 mph, instead of that putt-putt stuff. He rode/drove that thing like a moto-Xr would ride a bike... Was simply amazing to watch...

Last time I saw him race, was @ Riverside against Parneli Jones in "Oly"... Beat Jones and it would be an understatement to say that 'ol Parnelli wasn't taking too kindly to getting waxed...

Yep. Exhibition machine. There was a school bus wheelie machine too IIRC.

My ol' CJ-5 could lift the driver's side tire about 6" off the ground w/ the 327 Chevy in it.


Edit: Before someone says "Pics or it didn't happen" on the school bus...

With nothing in the front, I would imagine this Jeep only does wheelies....the big V8 mounted in the back...hmmmm
